An optional tour of the ESRF facility - Control Room, ID32 soft X-ray beamline, Solid State Amplifier (SSA) station and the 'Laboratoire National des champs Magnétiques Intenses' (LNCMI) will be organised during the afternoon of Friday, 30 September.
The LNCMI is a research infrastructure welcoming researchers from around the world for high magnetic field experiments. Located at two sites, LNCMI offers continuous fields in Grenoble (LNCMI-G) and pulsed fields in Toulouse (LNCMI-T).
Programme
The tours will be organised in five groups leaving from the entrance hall of the ESRF Central Building. Participants will be able to register for the group of their choice during the coffee breaks. An ID or passport must be shown to enter the LNCMI.
