FCC-ttbar simulations in pyAT
LOCO ORM
objective is to speed up the code for FCC.
family concept included
For large lattices like FCC: equaly distributed correctors
gradient and tilt errors applied (sext off)
gets perfect correction.
correction for quadrupole and skew quadripole
all singular values seem usefull.
35 minutes for 100 quad, 4 correctors, all BPMs
9h to correct random errors case

I.A. has many questions, will adress by email.

L.M. some ORM derivative formulas available also in python OMC3 code. may be not including thick corrections.

S.W. can improve the code by not copying the ring in ORM computations. Parallelized SVD exists . Can also look for sparse matrix. full_matrix = 'economny' + sparse matrix (lots of zeros).

MDT discussion:
ES postpones (B.Veglia may not come during restart)
TbT Sunday 23rd October 23.00-3.00

N.C. simulations not ready, so may not be ready for MDT. Also control of shaker etc must be further discussed.
Diagnostics colleagues to be involved.
S.W. may need an hardware commissioning shift
N.C. may try to have some acquisitions shaker on and look at the data. Test everything and postpone the measurement to a later Monday nigth. Try to take data, and see that acquisition runs ok.


NO MDT on restart. techincal MDT at ESRF. Then in the run Monday nigths 23-3
