Remote: Qing Qin, T.Rozier, B.Tommasini)

So welcome to this meeting. I'm happy to see many people. Last time you were not so many. So by the way, thank you for attending. It's 15th already called the meeting update meeting.

And there are no general project updates, I would say. So I will leave the work to the roundtable as usual, and we start with them. Every work package. So, Alistair.

WP01
Alessandro D'ELIA: The most important news is about the LLRF. Quotation of about 400,000 euros, but for a FULL package.

LLR is a Plug and play solution for LLRF. The LLRF part is about t what we are expecting. Now we have to decide what we have to buy.
More important to hire the new COD guy.

During my absence, thanks to Simone, Pawel and Anne, they managed to change the profile from the new position. It's the same position, but it's a slightly different profile.

We did not yet receive the quotation of the web guides. But we received the 1st proposal from Spinner, and we discussed it with Spinner.

A way to see whether this proposal is correct or not. And then, of course, also in this case, unfortunately, we have to go for CFT, because of the price.

I hope to try to launch the CFT of the Waveguides before the end of the year. I don't know if I will manage because I need to work on specification.

Beginning ofnext year, we have to, lunch the CFT For the load and isolator under SF6 that have long lead times of 11 or 12 months. We need to start the launch depending on the status of the collaborations.

A.D'Elia and M.Dubrulle, going to Scandinova 24th, 26th of November for the FAT, S-Band.

Spend delivery marked in the contract for 18th of December 2026. Okay, it's not a problem, but I will discuss it with BJoly, to find a place.

WP02 no news

WP03 vacuum, purchase of new pumps for COLD. Some still to be determined. No space to install the pumps, but drawings yet to be finalized.

ACTION: Post meeting note: Pumps could be placed in other location instead of directional coupler to make them accessible

If we have to dismantle one of these pumps, we have to move the cryomodule?

No, if there is no other model of vacuum pump, we can actually make a connection that goes down, that makes it dismountable.

WP04
9->12 racks
installation moved towards concrete door
Space between dump and RI section increased.
Dump placed before slab joint.
ONE tunnel hole NOT needed. Will not be DRILLED.

MMorati: issued with one simple axis crane to install klystron. Will need to move the modulator eventually.
NOTE: LONG discussion on this topic not reported here
ACTION: SUMMON ALGE for alignment of cranes, holes in tunnel wall and modulator
ACTION: SUMMON SCANDINOVA to get updated drawings, realistic and exact of the RF unit.
(Drawings are not accurate)

There are no bellows, the margin is very small.

Check differences

ACTION: ALGE measure modulator 0.

P,.Borowiec. make sure that output flagon klystron with respect to ....??? (ACTION get exact statement from Pawel)

WP05
LN2 delivery safety and big finding a solution for the correct location of the LN2 tank. Should avoid maneuvering for the track and be far from rain water.

HLS will be removed and put back later.

Scheduled drilling
Crane installation confirmed
Crane need margins
(Margin is half the diameter of the tunnel wall holes)

WP06 presentation by ILeconte.
ACTION: cover rasin of manholes.
ACTION: erase marking of tunnel wall hole that will not be done

If corings are late in January:
Plan B: work in morning-afternoon shifts
Plan C: cancel/delay one of the corings

Water cooling installation SUMMER 2028. Before using temporary installation (all Phase 0)

WP05 considering to install a permanent compressor to open the concrete door. But must be considered, we need to pen 3-4 times.

Safety corridor for cranes installation will be fences to identify the work area.

WP07 control
Meeting with I-tech. With LLRF, also tango DS is delivered. Very good news.
ALGE equipment easy to integrate

WP08 no news
WP09 no news
WP 10 Phase 0 ok. For Phase 1 need correctors strengths and quadrupole moving ranges
ACTION: need correctors strengths and quadrupole moving ranges

WP 11: uniform distribution better for emittance. Could be implemented at a later stage with a collimator (iris) after the gun.

G.Chazot presents the electronic logbook.

ACTION: Next meeting we need to discuss CABLING
ACTION: plan a meeting with legal office INFN-ESRF for collaboration contract.

Given the space limitations of the site, the linac must fit in 145 m, compactness is a strong design constraint and high gradient technology is a potential candidate to fulfill this goal. {SLAC} cool copper distributed-coupling technology in C-band [1] was selected to realize such a compact injector linac. A demonstrator (Cool copper Operation Linac Demonstrator, {COLD}) for this technology will be installed at the {ESRF}.},
