High-speed 2D detectors represent a challenge for Data Acquisition (DAQ) and Online Data Analysis (ODA) and Reduction (ODR) in research facilities like synchrotrons and laboratories. Several frameworks have been developed to address the control software of imaging detectors, which keep increasing their performance in terms of frame rate and data througthput.
The meeting will focus on applications at large facilities and laboratories requiring high-performance 2D detectors and the solutions to control them, with special interest in the Lima1 and Lima2 projects.
It is intended to exchange our experience dealing with the integration of challenging detectors in existing frameworks, as well as the development of new solutions to overcome limitations. More especifically, the meeting will be a good oportunity to discuss about the present and the future of the collaboration, including of course accomplishments and drawbacks.
Topics to discuss include:
The meeting will be a hybrid event, where remote participats will be able to contribute to the presentations and discussions. The Zoom link will be shared few days before the conference.
