Presenters Instructions

This page presents the instructions for presenters of talks and posters for the NOBUGS2024 conference.

Talks

All talks will be displayed from the main computer in the auditorium to facilitate streaming. The computer has a Windows 11 operating system and accepts files in Powerpoint and pdf format. Talks on web pages are acceptable but not encouraged due to eventual internet connection issues.

The program is very full and transitions between speakers must be efficient. For this reason we require speakers to upload their file(s)  to the indico site (see below) attached to their abstract. Talks must be uploaded at the latest before the start of the session in which the talk is given to enable a smooth transition between speakers.  Talks prepared and presented via a web site are required to upload a pdf version of their talk to indico too. The session chairs will check to ensure speakers have uploaded their talks before the session.

Posters

Posters will be displayed on panels in the coffee area. The standard size for posters is A0 in portait layout format (posters in landscape layout format will not fit on the poster boards!). Materials for fixing posters to the panels will be provided.

The poster sessions start on the first day of the conference therefore all posters must be displayed from the first day for the duration of the conference. Panels will be numbered with the poster numbers and title in the program, please hang your poster on the panel reserved for your poster.

A pdf file of the poster should be uploaded to indico (see below) with the abstract to share it with other conference goers and remote participants.

Uploading material

To upload materail you must have an indico account (in case you do not have an account then please create one) and be logged in as this account.
