Description

The McStas[1-3] neutron Monte Carlo ray-tracing simulation project was started at RISØ in 1997 and has thus now served the neutron scattering community for more than 25 years.
The presentation will give a brief overview of highlights from the 25 year history of McStas and further update the NOBUGS community on recent developments and future plans for both McStas and its X-ray counterpart McXtrace[4].
