Discussion:

All needs in modulator hall.

 

JLR what is the status of the network in the area?

FCV 1 switch with 48 ports

 

PB must separate the two installations. New rack only for operation

 

JLR need connection for refurb and for COLD.

 

FCV can concentrate ports in the same rack

 

PB: no, would prefer to have it in the racks for the network

 

One rack is dedicated to network. 

 

All plugs are copper.

 

Need fiber for timing 

 

Whist has both fiber and copper.

 

Interlock are also copper

 

Distinguish copper/fiber plugs. 

 

LN2 level for infrastructure

 

No fibers for control

 

Ask Friederike is need of fiber for diagnostics (ACTION)

 

Safety may need fiber (unlikely)

 

If need to distribute timing from ctrm to pinj, need of fiber. 

 

FCV: Racks are a already there

NOT yet. Being purchased.

 

Will need installation for September 2027.

 

 

Budget line control or operation line 

 

 

What needs to be done.

 

FCV: set arriving of fibers. (Similar) then buy 3 slots of switch (48 each). May need something special for safety.

 

ADE: Need dedicated cable tray?

 

FCV: existing cable trays are ok. 

 

Need to work in shutdown? 

JLR: sent request to Isabelle to work during shutdown.
