PB need to evaluate RF windows location. Venting may be more complicated in cryogenic environment. A mistake when venting could pollute the structures. (post meeting note SL: one of the tasks of the project is to define a venting procedure)
PB evaluate also canon as successor of Toshiba for RF components and waveguides
Grounding to be discussed
PB UHV components for RF to be managed with Vacuum group. Need of a pumping station dedicated to the modulator hall.
PB arcs could appear in vacuum.
JLR SAT of RF unit on section 0. PB and A.D'E.: NO. SAT on dummy load.
JLR RF unit test in RF test stand. NO: not enough space
MM New RF unit can be placed neer modulator 3.
PB need to buy dummy load for RF unit tests with a separated RFQ.
WP04: ask frascati for laser drawings
WP06: cleaning of linac modulator hall for refurbishemnt is complete. next step is preparation for COLD project
WP09: need to know dates of delivery of RF units for klystron X-ray source declaration
WP11: beam transport directly in the C-badn structures is difficult. need a small short laser spot on the cathod (Cu). Solution with S-band accelerating strucutres work better. more studies will follow.
