Welcome to the H2020 ENGAGE Conference 2025!
We are delighted to host this event from June 18-20, 2025, at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France. This conference is organized in the framework of H2020 ENGAGE project, funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND programme of Horizon 2020. The project “Enabling the next generation of computational physicists and engineers” (ENGAGE) is an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and multi-institutional project offering quality training to a total of 18 doctoral students in the fields of Computational High Energy Physics, Multiscale Systems and Synchrotron Light Applications. It aims to develop students’ competencies in High-Performance Computing, in methodologies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science approaches and Quantum Computing.
- A keynote talk
- Presentations from ENGAGE PhD students
- Hands-on tutorial
- Poster session
The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility – Extremely Brilliant Source (ESRF-EBS) is the upgrade of the world-leading source of synchrotron X-rays and a centre of excellence for fundamental and innovation-driven research in condensed and living matter science. Operating more than 44 beamlines with state-of-the-art instrumentation, the ESRF serves ~10.000 scientists each year who study materials and living matter. With the Extremely Brilliant source (EBS), the world’s first fourth-generation of high-energy synchrotron, ESRF opens new vistas for X-ray science in imaging condensed and living matter from meter to nanometer scales, enabling scientists to address the global challenges facing our society such as health, climate changes and environment, but also energy and innovative industry.
