The aim of the workshop is to highlight the use of HDF in science and industry, to discuss use cases and the latest developments based in the HDF5 library and related tools.

The workshop will be followed by a 2 day h5py code camp on the 19-20 September. The h5py code camp is aimed at fixing bugs and issues with the help of the main developers i.e. it is not a training camp on h5py.

The HDF5 workshop is sponsored and co-organised by the HDFGroup and the ESRF.

The h5py code camp is sponsored by PaNOSC.
