Description

Dear Visitor,

The ESRF is delighted to welcome you for the "29th DYMAT Technical Meeting 2026: Dynamic testing and modelling of heterogeneous materials and their interfaces".

The third day of the workshop will take place at the European Synchrotron research facility - EPN Science Campus, Grenoble, on September 10, 2026.

This day will focus on cutting-edge research and experimental techniques at the intersection of dynamic material testing, synchrotron-based characterization, and computational modelling. You will have the unique opportunity to:

  • Explore high-strain-rate testing methods and their applications in materials science.
  • Discover advanced synchrotron techniques (e.g., high-speed imaging, diffraction, tomography) for probing material behavior under extreme conditions.
  • Engage in discussions on modelling heterogeneous materials and interfaces, with insights from leading experts in the field.
  • Network with researchers from academia and industry, fostering collaborations in dynamic material science.

Important: Access to the ESRF Campus (EPN Science Campus)

Due to the high-security requirements of the EPN Science Campus, all external visitors must complete an access request form to obtain site entry permission.

After registering for the event on the DYMAT website, please also fill out this short second registration form below, so you can participate to the third day of the workshop.

Upon arrival at the site entrance, you will be asked to present a valid ID.

We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting event and facilitating your participation in the dynamic discussions at the ESRF!
