PB prefers scandinova buy back proposal. complete system. old modulator really old. scandinova has difficulties. modulator may be will not run at 4 microseconds. Early scandinova modulators, not the best.
This modulator had also some known breakdown. Reparied but still risk. and no warranty from PSI.
PSI will test before shipment and quite a lot of effort.
modulator can give the pulse, but klystron.

BJ: in CDR there is a line about reliability / maintainability . Cryogenics are part of it.
BJ: Need to discuss for example in ASDMM how to handle cryogenics. may need group of people for cryogenics tasks.
GLB: can expect some issues. cryogenics not planned at the moment.
design by ISDD, application by IDM, maintenance by Vacuum,
COLD project could be a justification to organize the expertise.
CB: QQ is aware about the issue, but there is no decision at the moment.
Bertrand Pellisier is the reference of for cryo in the COLD project.
Faraday cage is not mandatory to move, said TB.
PW: Need to know from SAFETY if RF-units have to be fenced.
ADE: if faraday cage moved, could simplify installation for example of BOC.
BJ: could move away faraday cage to an other location.

there will be a new interlock meeting next week.
PB: who will be responsible for interlock hardware. for PSS herve. for hardware interlock who will be responsible?
MD: there is advance.
PB: some one needs to build it.
MD: we need to know exactly ho to collect all interlock. Need to think about centralization and how to work with it.
PB: needs fast interlocks (RF) and slow interlocks (temp , water)
