 OL (EOS26) provides a comprehensive\, hands-on introduction to the design\
 , modelling\, ray-tracing simulation and optimisation of X-ray optical sys
 tems.\n \nThe venue of the school is the ESRF\, 71 Avenue des Martyrs\, G
 renoble (France) and the dates May 20-22 2026.\n \nThe attendees will gai
 n experience using simulation tools inside OASYS\, a powerful simulation e
 nvironment\, alongside analytical calculations to characterize and optimiz
 e beamline components.\n \nEOS26 is organised in the framework of the COS
 T Action CA24131-ENRICH: European Network for radiation-detection based R
 esearch and Innovation addressing increasing societal CHallenges.\nLecture
 s and Practicals\n\n\nLectures on fundamentals and advanced aspects of opt
 ical system design for X-rays: theory\, instrumentation\, multi-technique 
 coupling\, data processing.\n\n\nComponents – mirrors\, crystals\, lense
 s\, gratings and other key optical elements\n\n\nPractical training using 
 SHADOW4  in the OASYS2 ecosystem\n\n\nWho should attend\nThe School is op
 en to PhD students\, post-doctoral researchers\, early-career & confirmed 
 scientists\, and industrial professionals interested in optics design for 
 X-rays\, including synchrotron and XFEL beamlines.\n \nWhether you are ne
 w to optics modelling or looking to enhance your expertise\, this interact
 ive training will offer valuable insights\, practical techniques\, and exp
 ert guidance to help you advance your work in X-ray optics using software
  design specifically developed for X-ray instrumentation.\nInstructors and

 gistration (the grant is open to all applicants). Everyone is eligible for
  this grant If applying\, you should:\n\n\ninclude a short CV\n\n\nindicat
 e why you are interested in participating\n\n\nbe a member of the COST-ENR
 ICH project (you can join it after acceptance)\n\n\ngive a rough estimatio
 n of the traveling cost (flight\, train) to Grenoble\n\n\n\n\n\nin March y
 ou will be informed if your candidature is accepted and validated\, and if
  you have been selected for travelling support by the COST-ENRICH  (15 gr
 ants available from a total of 26 attendees). If selected\, you will recei
 ve an invitation from COST-ENRICH with instructions and a link to complete
