The EOS26 School provides a comprehensive and hands-on introduction to ray tracing and other simulation techniques applied to x-ray optical systems
🌞 Lectures and Practicals:
- Lectures on fundamentals and advanced aspects of optical system design for x-rays: theory, instrumentation, multi-technique coupling, data processing.
- Practical training using SHADOW4 in the OASYS2 ecosystem

🎓 Who Should Attend
The School is open to PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, early-career & confirmed scientists, and industrial professionals interested in optics design for x-rays, like synchrotron and XFEL beamlines.

Registration is Free
The participation is limited to 26 attendees.
Registration will be opened in 1st February 2026.
Among the registratered people, a selection will be done if they overpass the limited places. This will be done my the speakers based on principles of CV, activity, institution (European prioritized, none excluded) ans idoneity. Acceptation will be communicated by the end of March 2026.
This School is coorganised by the EU COST-ENRICH project, that offers grants the cost of 10 participants with an approximated amount of grants: 1000 € that would include accommodation in the guest house (bedroom with private bathroom: shower, sink, and toilet) and breakfast. Applications to the grant will be done on registration.
