Description

The European Synchrotron Light Source Workshop (ESLS) is an annual event designed to give the synchrotron community the opportunity to keep abreast of operation and developments taking place in facilities throughout Europe.

Due to the continuing sanitary restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESRF will host the 29th ESLS Workshop via Zoom video conference, during the afternoons of 24th and 25th November. The workshop programme will cover all relevant aspects of the design, construction, operation and improvement of synchrotron light sources.  It will focus on storage ring based sources and the status report of each facility will be divided into three parts:

  • Operation status,
  • Upgrades and developments,
  • Management of the COVID-19 pandemic
