to prepare meeting with SLAC on pressurized vassel, contacted APAVE. if pressure rise lower than 0.5bar, then no need for any authorization.
What about boiling LN2 or issues? This is handled by burst disk pressure limitation valve.
START of next year 2026 first drawings.
drawings inspected. some missing part. moving parts not all clear. some manual movements some motorized.
no alignment reference points.
CGT : need to define alignment strategy to define the ref-points locations.
SL: we could propose a solution to SLAC
LE: 50 um are demanding alignment request.
SL: this value is based on 6GeV (COLD phase 4) simulations.

new round of meetings with various WPs.
for cooling system a new installation will be needed for COLD. fully independent from ESRF present linac.
electricity not a big deal
LN2 tank size to be confirmed ( < -- ACTION)
Space configuration to be evaluated. Space for control room will then be defined (common for linac and COLD project)
SL: if the use of COLD and present linac is alternative (never work together) the water infrastructure would be sufficient?
PB and SW: in any case better to have separate installation.

modify linac entrance building to have larger platform and cover in case of rain. Not expensive installation.

gathered needs for COLD
interlock meeting. Marc Dubrulle provided a list of interlock. some are for PSS some for equipment interlock.
WP12 TIMING (no referent at the moment, replaces WP photons)
PSI set up will work for COLD project phase 0,1 and 2. For phase 3 a system able to send beam in the SR will have to be designed.
BR: PSI solution will work for COLD project phase 0,1 and 2

linac door connected to PSS system in winter shutdown.

authorization for RF unit ready, but not submitted
SL: AFTER the authorization is submitted (to avoid any further delay) could we ask to submit authorization for RF unit to arrive in March 2027? Identical document, only RF-unit number will change.

re-running linac simulations due to bug fix in RF_Track code.
WP12-photons suppressed after meeting with FEL experts. nothing to learn from undulator after cold linac installation.
visit of CTF-2 and CLEAR facility very fruitfull. Same installation as ours.
